Green Gem Briefing
2025
Bryon Diamond was an elite member of a top secret
Visual Operative Program, a remnant of a program that
was officially abandoned back in the mid-1980’s. However,
official is official, and top secret is top secret. Diamond
knew his upcoming mission, Green Gem, was the most important
of his life. His team had to rescue Dr. Shoshutzin
and gain possession of his creation, Green Gem, to have a
chance to save the world from the awesome mega-storms
and geographic upheavals of the Fossil Fire Effect. Diamond
had used his gift of visual contemplation the night
before, discovering a secure basement room that went undetected
during Satellite Special Surveillance. Through the
contemplation, he visited the ‘Romanov House’, a memorial
built with a replica of the basement room with the famous
arc, where the Romanov family, servants, and doctor had
been murdered in 1918.
Dr. Shoshutzin, held captive in the ‘Arc Room’, admired
Anastasia with affection, for her youth, and beauty.
Even though the tragedy happened decades ago, he felt like
the Bolsheviks killed a beloved Russian daughter that day.
To him, Anastasia’s death was a tough, tragic part of Russian
history. Dr. Shoshutzin knew the KGP used psychogical intimidation
by keeping him in the Arc Room. Anastasia’s
effect on him was well-known, having written a book
about her demise ten years earlier. In the book, he dismissed
the Anna Tchaikovski (Anderson) story, where she claimed
to be Anastasia. He praised the DNA results that ended
Anderson’s claim and restored Anastasia’s dignity.
Green Gem Briefing
Bryon Diamond stepped into the briefing room, the harsh
yellow light cutting across his green eyes and camel brown
hair, the light accenting his high cheek bones. He received a
warm greeting from Major Braxton—they had a history.
“Hey, Diamond, good to see you came back for the last
briefing. I’m looking forward to this little party at Anastasia’s
house later tonight,” Braxton said with a fiery smile,
his coal black hair waxed down, dark brown eyes gleaming,
his angular features crinkling into a kick-ass smile. He was
ready for the mission and Diamond knew it. Diamond
glanced around the room, and then relaxed.
“Gotta do this one right,” he said with strength. The
camaraderie was good for Diamond, for most of the time he
worked alone. He enjoyed the bantering. “I’ve executed
many missions that were high priority, but this is pure red,
white, and blue for the whole damn world. I never thought
I’d be on a mission to save the damn planet.”
“Okay, men, time to get down to business. Project
Green Gem’s got to succeed or the game’s over for all of
us,” General Smith said in full combat mission mode. “Remember
the Green Gem must be placed on the Javelin for
Launch by 16:00, December 15, 2025, the drop-dead time,
that’s when the planet Nectar will be closest to Earth. As
you know, the Green Gem will need a boost of sparks from
the planet for the mission to succeed. Now, the snipers will
be here at points 1a and 2b...”
Diamond knew the plan after ten times. He drifted
away, away to his lovely wife, Ashley, already missing the
Green Gem 11
tender nights of intimacy they shared. He saw his twelveyear-
old son, Tommy, trying to ride his bike for the first
time. He caught Tommy barely in time to stop his first fall.
Diamond knew there would be many more and a lot harder
than the one he had prevented. He whispered, “No, I can’t
stop them all, but I stopped this one, big guy.” He saw little
Angie and how her face lit up as she jumped into his arms
each time he stepped through the front door … the times he
could be home. Yeah, he knew what this mission meant. He
thought of the millions of families in the same battle for
survival.
Diamond’s contemplation last night revealed a base
with three men monitoring the house where they could respond,
bringing dire consequences for the Green Gem team,
and the fate of humankind. He’d take care of the base. He’d
brief the team, and General Smith. He had a damn good
team. He knew Braxton was first class, and Rucker was as
tough as they come. Rucker had avoided execution at the
hands of the ‘Renewed Islam of Allah’ group in 2023.
Rucker, blindfolded, awaiting execution, stayed calm. Even
though, designed to display the fierce nature of this new
organization, Rucker made other plans. He refused to give
up. Like the rest of the Special Ops team, a small nana saw
controlled by a specific thought command, was placed below
the skin under his index fingernail. The magnet under
the tip of his finger gave him a bonus chance to survive.
Rucker’s execution was at hand. The digital camera was
ready. As the terrorist leader drew closer, Rucker commanded
the saw to eject, but it fell into the sand behind him.
He rolled onto his back and squirmed until he felt the click
of the saw on his index finger. His over-confident captors
laughed.
“The infidel does not know his God,” the leader said.
The four men laughed even harder.
Rucker took the opportunity to use the saw and loosen
the rope to a few thin threads. After the leader made his
statement to the world, Rucker waited, waited until the
leader pulled him over and put the blade to his throat. As
the executioner drew back to slice, Rucker stormed into action.
He rolled forward holding the arm of the leader. As he
thrust him over his head, he snatched the blade and followed
through by breaking the leader’s neck.
Rucker visualized the next moves as the other men
stared in disbelief. He spun and sliced through the belly and
guts of the one holding the ZX-47. He shoved the other
man’s nose into his brain. Rucker stood up and beheaded
the poor soul who must have been in training. The video
man was nowhere to be seen. He grabbed the digital module
that stored the soon-to-be-released film, and then disappeared
into the shadows of the small village. Instead of
what the ‘death squad’ planned, the digital broadcast
showed a valiant warrior destroying his enemies and escaping.
Diamond awoke from his reverie to the sound of the
General’s commanding voice.
General Smith ended the briefing, saying, “All right,
gentleman, Godspeed. My prayers are with you!”
“Wars only bring more wars, never peace.”
Chief Dan Evehema
Ken Elk
Ken Elk was of Hopi descent. He had the dream power of
the Hopi Indian. His great grandfather, an elder, had taught
Elk the traditions of his ancestors. Part of that tradition was
spiritual. The Spiritual consisted of Prophecy and warnings.
However, humankind showed a terrible record on respecting
other humans—humanity’s treatment of earth was no better.
In 2012, Elk’s great grandfather, Tall Bear, spoke to
the United Nations. He presented Hopi Prophecies, warning
of coming catastrophes if humankind did not stop the carnage
of the Earth’s resources. He knew traditional Hopi
characters like Spider Woman, and the Horny Toad
Woman, would make the message difficult, even cause it to
be dismissed by Twenty-First Century people. He bypassed
Green Gem 13
the characters and focused on the message. Tall Bear spoke
of the consequences of Fossil Fire Effect, changed weather
patterns, powerful storms, torrential rain, drought, starvation,
and disease. Bryon Diamond listened intently to the
message. He got it. He and Ken Elk, who was Tall Bear’s
great grandson, shared concern about climactic disasters.
Both men knew things were getting worse. Even most scientists
came to the same conclusion.
Dr. Shoshutzin was the only Russian assigned to attend
the UN summit. He worked on a Nana Component System
for the West right under the noses of the Russian Federation.
His project, Green Gem, developed new technology
that could bring hope to the world, even if the foolishness of
its leaders continued. Diamond and Shoshutzin attended a
round table seminar with Tall Bear. The two young men,
who would one day hold the future of the planet in their
hands, did not know their destiny.
Upon their meeting, Tall Bear only said, “I know you
have work of great importance ahead of you.”
Dr. Shoshutzin and Bryon Diamond became fast
friends and Dr. Shoshutzin invited him for a cup of coffee.
“Photosynthesis is the production of oxygen from the combination
of light, plants, and water, as you know from your
science classes. Photo from the Greek, which is light and
synthesis from the Greek, indicates pull together. Photosynthesis
has fascinated me for many years. I’m sorry, Bryon, I
don’t mean to lecture, but I see photosynthesis as the way to
save the planet from the madness of man.”
Bryon responded, “I’ve learned a great deal today
about the consequences of FFE, please go ahead, Doctor.”
“What I am doing is searching for a way to make photosynthesis
happen, say at the speed of light. With my current
predictions, by 2050 the earth will be in a state of
emergency with unpredictable mega-storms and convulsive
geographic calamities. I don’t have time to describe the way
these things might occur, or their consequences, but it will
be dramatic.”
Dr. Shoshutzin was right, and so was Tall Bear. Science
and Spiritualism finally agreed on something. The timing
of these events would turn out to be crucial. Dr. Shoshutzin
winced with pain, and rubbed his chest. He strained
for breath and took a small white tablet.
He chuckled, relaxing, “I’ve got a great brain, but
sometimes my heart gives me trouble. Well, I’ve enjoyed
our conversation, but it’s time to catch my flight. Bring up
this issue as loud and as often as you can, Bryon. Till next
time, stay safe,” Dr. Shoshutzin said as he turned to head
out the door.
Diamond could hear the distant roar of an airplane taking
off as he downed the last of his coffee.
The Dream 2024
Ken Elk woke with a startled jerk. He had not had a significant
dream in several months, and he did not like this one.
In this new dream, he saw the Great Glaciers in the North,
Greenland, and the North Pole, melting at an alarming pace.
In May of 2024, this dream meant a catastrophe was imminent.
When Ken dreamed an event, the event occurred
within nine months almost without fail. He contacted his
buddy, Bryon Diamond, who worked on the classified
Green Gem project with him.
“Bryon Diamond.”
“Bryon, this is your Hopi brother, Ken Elk.”
“Ken, good to hear your voice, it’s been a while. Talk
to me, buddy.”
“Bryon, last night I dreamed the Great North Glaciers
melted way ahead of any time lines I’ve seen.”
“That changes everything!” Bryon exclaimed.
“Bryon, when these dreams come to me, the maximum
event time is nine months, but I’m not sure at what point in
that cycle the event will happen.”
“You get anything on Europe, China, the U.S.?”
“I did, here’s what I got. Of course, you know, with the
Green Gem 15
rapid increase in global warming, potential climate change
impacts will be significant. Europe will heat up faster than
most continents. I saw the results of several heat waves with
drought conditions, and powerful thunderstorms bringing
torrential downpours with hail the size of soft balls. London’s
citizens were standing in food lines with hospitals
overcrowded to the point, men, women, and children were
in lines along the sidewalks. Triage units were set up outside
to begin treating them. I saw a little girl with her head
wrapped in a bloodstained bandage, her father holding his
water-doused kerchief to her lips. London’s streets looked
haunted and deserted. Big Ben’s face was full of gaping
holes, buildings had walls blown out. I saw wrecked cars
strewn around like toys.”
Ken hesitated. Bryon jumped in.
“If these extreme events are predicted closer to 2050,
this is one helluva leap. The Green Gem project depends on
a rescue mission in a hostile country. I’ll get things moving
on my end. Would you give the big boys at the CIA an update?”
“Roger that, buddy.”
Elk began to think. The Signs that great destruction is
near were flashing.
First, we’ve witnessed the coming of the white
skinned man.
Second, the land filled with spinning wheels, the
covered wagons.
Third, yeah, then came a beast with great long
horns. That was, longhorn cattle, he thought.
Fourth, snakes of iron, railroad tracks, across
the land.
Fifth, the construction of the power and telephone
lines created the giant spider webs built to
crisscross the land.
Sixth, the Interstate systems, the bitching rivers
of stone.
Seventh, the oil spills making the oceans black.
1 6 James C. Taylor
What a holy mess.
Number eight the longhaired youth seeking
spiritual knowledge. The Hippies.
And the ninth and final prophecy, a dwelling
place in the heavens that will fall with a great
crash.
Could it be an asteroid? he wondered.
Chapter 2
Uzbekistan, Khazakhstan
Russian border, 2025
ryon Diamond clicked on the timer. This one would be
done old-fashioned style. The government had a few
thousand of these old blow-ups in stock and Byron liked to
use them when he could. He crawled away, not disturbing
the nearby shrubs. He specialized in search and rescue. He
stopped near the highway to throw the cover off his hidden
Hurricane X15. As the car drifted into the Uzbekistan traffic,
he knew a major border crisis would explode within two
hours. He would be hundreds of miles away and he liked it
that way.
The convoy of military vehicles approached the bridge
curving across a span of water that allowed the patrol to
stay on the borderline. Bryon didn’t want to kill the soldiers,
only irritate the Russians, and his bomb exploded
seconds before the convoy arrived.
Russian President Bledlutzin ordered thousands more
troops to the Kazakhstan-Russian border. The Uzbek President
did the same. The face-off along the hundred-mile
stretch of border near Tashkent was one breath away from a
major skirmish, or all out war. Negotiators and diplomats
scrambled to stave off the crisis—several rounds of artillery
flared across the border from both sides. The ploy worked,
as Russia’s attention turned away from other issues.
Bryon Diamond Family History
Bryon Diamond was born to Patrick and Tammy Diamond
on November 21, 1992. They brought him to his new home
in Atlanta, Georgia on Peachtree Street, where he received
lots of love. At first, Patrick Diamond was on the road on an
extended basis due to his success in the country music business.
He had several number one hits. He hated touring, but
that’s where he made his money. Since Patrick was on the
road in those early years, he made sure Bryon had things to
do. Tammy signed him up for Tae Kwon Do, soccer, and
baseball. Baseball was his strongest sport. However, by the
time Bryon was nine years old, Patrick’s career was over.
He was part of that era’s five-year career phenomena. Patrick
got a job at a Chrysler dealership, but did not adjust
well to being a regular guy. He drank, and focused his attention
on ‘making Bryon tough enough to face life’s challenges.’
Bryon was miserable. However, he survived, and
received a scholarship to UGA. He performed well, producing
the most RBI’s in school history, and breaking the stolen
base record. He rejected professional offers, his heart set
on being with the CIA. Since he was five years old, his uncle
Mike had told him stories about dangerous top-secret
operations. Uncle Mike instilled a deep love of freedom and
democracy. Bryon developed a love for his country that was
stronger than any talent.
Tammy, a dedicated mother, did everything she could
to give Bryon chances to discover his interests and talents.
He still appreciated her emphasis on education, independence,
and living life to the fullest. More than that, he internalized
the principles and values she instilled in him. She
gave him the Principles of Universal—kindness, respect,
love and God. He learned the values of community, commitment,
honesty in relationships, and providing for his
family. For that, Bryon was grateful.

Tammy Diamond: Contemplations 1996-2004
Tammy Diamond brought more to Bryon’s life than food
and shelter. She taught him how to contemplate. “Bryon, sit
down, relax, look inside on the inner screen. Visualize a
bolt of blue lightning from the earth to the sky. Keep your
eye on the blue lightning. Watch the blue lightning expand
to gently embrace you until you are safely inside the light.
Look around and let the light take you where you need to go
to learn a spiritual lesson. Inside the light, you will get information
about your daily life. This information can make
your life easier.”
After twenty minutes, Tammy would ask Bryon to
come back to the room.
“Slowly open your eyes, Bryon. Gently come back.”
“Mom, today I saw a Native American. He was old
with wrinkles all over his face, but he looked at me with
love. Is that Divine Love?”
“Yes, Bryon, only accept love and kindness in the inner
worlds. Any being who doesn’t nurture you should be
ignored. In that case, surround yourself in the blue lightning
bolt. Allow your inner guide to protect you. Isn’t your inner
guide a very light being with features you can’t describe?”
“Yes, Mom, that’s my inner guide. He took me to see
the Native American. The tall one spoke to me without
words but I somehow understood. He was telling me, if I
choose, to walk the path you teach me. He said to keep love
in my heart, follow the light, and listen for the sound of
creation, that sound is constant. He taught me how to listen.
He said God’s energy flows through all things.”
“That’s wonderful, sweetheart,” Tammy acknowledged,
looking at Bryon with warm emotions. “You have
established a relationship with the source of all love and
protection. Remember, we all have God energy that shines
through us all the time. The trick is to learn to be sensitive
enough to listen. Remember, your contemplations open the
pathways of communication. You are more soul than body.
Your father believes that soul will go to heaven one day. In
20 James C. Taylor
the religion of the Blue Light, your soul will translate to
another reality leaving the body behind. Not much different
from when Dad’s, or my soul one day leaves the body to
continue its journey. All journey’s, in the end, lead us home
to God, my dear, dear Bryon.”
Through the years, Bryon kept performing the contemplations,
even though at first, the concept of his soul leaving
his body didn’t make sense. Now, however, all these years
later, he discovered that in his contemplations his soul did
leave his body. When that happened, he felt light and unencumbered,
as if released from a body made of clay. He got
used to this feeling, though at first he was scared, he would
go right back into his body as soon as he realized he was
out.
Diamond and Lu Ying
Russia, 2021
Lu Ying brushed by Diamond, slipping the ‘StarBurst’ into
his coat pocket. The StarBurst contained secret data on
China’s military plans in Asia for the next five years. His
assignment: CIA operative in Moscow heading a company
called the ‘Russian Jewelry Exchange.’ He thought it ironic
that he could see the Kremlin from the lobby and from his
office window. He transmitted the data when he returned to
his office. The code was the highest level code Goma Wiley
had yet created. Goma was legendary in the international
world of code. Wiley’s code was an integral part of protecting
the Green Gem project from foreign detection. Green
Gem burst forth as the scientific answer for the deteriorating
conditions caused by the Fossil Fire Effect. He learned
about the urgency of the ecosystem crisis at a UN earth conference
in 2012 which he attended with Ken Elk. He met
Dr. Shoshutzin, the inventor of the Green Gem, at the conference.
Diamond’s thoughts turned to Lu Ying and how their
affair started. He’d been at a local club that afforded him
Green Gem 21
some privacy. One night as he was turning from the bar to
get a table for dinner, he bumped into Lu Ying who also
found solace in the pub. An immediate intimacy developed
between them. Patronizing with a foreign agent was strictly
forbidden, but ever since that chance meeting that rule was
bent until broken.
“Excuse me,” she laughingly said. “What is that in
your coat pocket?”
Bryon mumbled, “How clumsy of me...” then recognized
Lu Ying. He got the joke and burst into a good hearty
laugh. When they both settled down, he invited her to have
dinner. After Lu Ying took her seat, he slipped into his
chair, ordering Murdoc with their dinner. Lu Ying wore a
sleek black dress with a cream silk sash falling off her left
shoulder, flowing under her breast, reaching down to lightly
rest on her shapely hips. The design revealed the curve of
her delicate, Asian cream breasts, made more appealing to
Bryon, rising up from the tightness of her dress. Her smooth
black hair, styled to shoulder length, a decorative burgundy
barrette holding most of it to the right, revealed an intelligent
face and deep brown eyes on fire with life. With candle
light dancing on her skin, she became his most alluring fantasy.
A highly charged, sophisticated Oriental woman who understood
the pleasures released when that divine femininity
melted into the Western hero’s hard masculinity.
“You look amazing tonight, Lu.”
“Maybe this is our night for romance. Bryon,” Lu almost
whispered, her eyes simmering with passion and looking
straight into his. She sipped the Murdoc, and caressed
Bryon’s leg with her bare ankle, the bracelet on it tingling.
He could hear its melody, and felt a surge of warm energy
taking him closer to her. Lu was amazed how sexuallycharged
the situation became. She knew she wanted to keep
going. They finished the bottle of Murdoc with their dinner,
disappearing into a passionate world of their own.
“Lu, I may be called back stateside soon,” Bryon murmured,
releasing a long relaxing breath. Lu Ying rested her
head lightly on his chest. He pulled her closer.
She sighed. “Such forlorn matters mustn’t take this
moment away.”
Pressing her tightly against him, Bryon said, “In this
crazy world, Lu, I want you with me.”
Lu knew she wanted the same thing but didn’t know
how to make that happen. How could she extract herself?
Would the Party leave well enough alone, or would they
come after her? She wished she knew the answers.
“I love you, Bryon Diamond.” She sighed as she fell
asleep to the rhythm of his strong steady breathing.
Bryon was called back stateside just as his encounters
were blossoming with Lu Ying. He tried to forget the last
time he saw her walking into the Kremlin.
